Equine Sports Massage (ESMT)

Massage utilizes various clinical assessments followed by specific massage techniques, mobilisation and stretching. These techniques are non-invasive and, when correctly administered, will relieve muscle-related problems before they have chance to result in injury.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

What makes craniosacral therapy (CST) unique is its specific focus on the equine skull and its relationship to the rest of the body. Using a gentle hands-on technique applied to the individual bones of the skull, the spine and sacrum (though not limited to these) - craniosacral therapy brings balance to the entire skeletal and muscular systems. Canine & Equine Manual Therapy

A combination of osteopathic techniques and soft tissue manipulation are used during treatment. The application of an accurately determined and specifically directed manual force to the body will help to improve mobility in areas that are restricted; in joints, in connective tissues or in skeletal muscles.

Deep Oscillation Therapy

In addition to manual therapy, deep oscillation is offered as another treatment when required. Deep oscillation can be used for:

Arthritis - Haematoma/Bruising - Ligament damage

Muscle fibre rupture - Oedema (lymph) - Rheumatism

Scar Tissue & Fibrosis - Sprains/Strains

For traumatic injuries and damage from overstraining, DEEP OSCILLATION has an anti-inflammatory and oedema-reducing effect. Areas relieved of pain are are stimulated into self-mobilization and thus an earlier return to active forms of therapy and training are enabled.

Covers the following areas:

London

Leicestershire
